As part of the European LIFE+ project “FENIX-Giving Packaging a New Life”, and to celebrate the 6th anniversary of the Environmental Management Research Group (GiGa) within the Escola Superior de Comerç Internacional (ESCI-UPF), we are pleased to invite you to the FENIX: 1st International Conference on Life Cycle Thinking.

The aim of this conference is to:

• Raise awareness on the importance of using Life Cycle Thinking in decision making regarding sustainability issues in Spain and Portugal.
• Provide access to the latest developments on methodologies that use this approach through keynote international experts.
• Introduce the FENIX project as an example of how to incorporate Life Cycle Thinking in decision making regarding packaging waste management. 
• Provide an environment within which business, public administrations and research groups can exchange knowledge and experiences.
  

This conference includes the participation of internationally recognized keynote speakers, and will provide a unique space to exchange experiences among innovation, environmental, R&D, quality, industry and trade executives and directors from public administrations, businesses, technological centres, business associations, chambers of commerce and business and marketing schools.
